Our best wishes go to midfielder TOM TURTON who has agreed to join MFL Premier Division side WORCESTER CITY for the 2020/21 campaign.

Tom had returned to Stourbridge for a second stint in the summer of 2019, making the switch from Alvechurch following the appointment of Ian Long.

He had originally linked up with the Glassboys ahead of the 2012/13 season following his release from WBA. Tom joined Romulus on 'dual registration' in March 2013 and subsequently remained with them for the following season.

He signed for Sutton Coldfield Town in August 2014 and spent two seasons with the Royals before moving to Alvechurch in May 2016 where he enjoyed three productive years.

Tom chalked up 33 appearances (24 + 9 sub) for the Glassboys last season and scored once (in the win at Kings Langley) to take his overall tally to 56 Stourbridge appearances (32 + 24 sub) over the course of his two stints.

At the same time as announcing Tom's arrival, Worcester City have also confirmed the signing of two more former Glassboys midfielders with Ryan Winwood and Aaron Birch moving from Alvechurch.

Good Luck to Tom in the future!
