The Stourbridge FC Academy is a unique full time football programme run in conjunction with Dudley College. The programme enables male players aged 16-18 to study any of the courses on offer. This means we have students not just focused on sporting subjects at our Evolve campus but, aspiring engineers in Advance buildings, budding entrepreneurs completing business courses and a number of A level students at Dudley Sixth.
Players receive up to 10 hours of football per week with a typical football timetable seeing players train on Monday & Friday afternoons. Matches on a Wednesday afternoon and bespoke strength and conditioning sessions on Tuesday & Thursday afternoons.
The Academy team compete in 'Division H' of the Under-19 Alliance National League, which currently comprises 12 teams.
The list of clubs involved, in alphabetical order, reads: Boldmere St. Michaels, Chasetown, Kidderminster Harriers, Leamington, Mansfield Town, Nuneaton Borough, Racing Club Warwick, Romulus, Solihull Moors, Stourbridge, Stratford Town and Tamworth.
The majority of home matches will again be played at the War Memorial Athletic Ground with training at Dudley Colleges state of the art 3G pitch and indoor facilities including gym and six court sports hall.
