Stourbridge romped to a 6 - 1 victory with a pleasing display as Ian Long's side continues to bed in.

Stourbridge forged in-front against their MFL Premier Division opponents with just four minutes gone. A header forward by Tom Tonks was only partially cut out by a home defender with the ball dropping invitingly to the feet of Will Grocott and he drove into the box before smartly slotting home.

Five minutes later Kristian Green intercepted a pass before finding Michael Taylor. He fed the ball inside to Grocott, who shot narrowly off-target from 18 yards.

Stourbridge went close again on 24 minutes as Kristian Green and Mills linked up down the right with the subsequent cross from Green into the near post area headed just the wrong side of the upright by David Bellis.

Three minutes later the Glassboys made their first change of the afternoon with Ryan Winwood replacing Bellis, who had presumably picked up a knock or strain.

In the 32nd minute Winwood cut out a pass enabling Taylor to pounce on the ball and take on his marker. He advanced into the area and might have had a shot himself, however he opted to try a square pass to Mills which was intercepted by a home defender.

Within another minute though Stourbridge doubled their advantage as the Wulfs defence went awol, allowing Mills to receive the ball in the left channel area and check inside before firing in a shot that the keeper could only parry and Taylor was on hand to tap in the rebound.

A minute before the interval Mills added a third. Having been fouled just outside the left-hand side of the area he took a quick free-kick short to Grocott and then collected a return pass in his stride before cutting inside and burying a low shot into the far corner of the net.

The Glassboys made four changes for the start of the second period. Former Stourbridge, Halesowen and Alvechurch keeper Paul Evans took over from Charlie Price between the sticks, while Lewis Archer, James Hill, Jake Evans replaced Tonks, Turton and Taylor.

A minute after the re-start Jake Evans went close with a header from a Mills cross.

In the 56th minute a 20-yard free-kick from Grocott curled inches wide of the far post and then four minutes later Green lifted a ball forward that unhinged the Wulfs defence and Mills was able to turn and dig out a shot that was held by the keeper.

Wulfs quickly responded with a 25-yard shot that Evans pushed wide for a corner.

A fine goal from Jake Evans made it four with 63 minutes gone. Green turned the ball inside into the path and the teenage midfielder wrapped his foot around a low first-time 25-yard shot, which went in off the base of the far post.

Stourbridge immediately made four more changes with Aaron Lloyd, Hayden Reeves, Andre Landell and Kieran Cook taking over from Williams, Mills, McGrath and Grocott with Lloyd partnering Reeves at the back.

AFC Wulfrunians pulled a goal back on 68 minutes as a deep diagonal cross from the left was headed beyond Evans by Lewis Haughton.

Substitute Landell bagged the first of a brace of goals in the space of a few minutes with 72 minutes gone after Archer had slipped a pass into Cook and he turned the ball back for Landell to try a curling shot that the home stopper got a hand to, but could not keep out.

Four minutes later Landell capitalised on a defensive calamity when an attempted Wulfs clearance hit another of their players with the ball bouncing straight to Landell. He dribbled forward before tucking away his shot to make it six.

Wulfs almost had a second goal ten minutes from time, however Evans parried an angled shot from Haughton away to his right.
