A second half penalty miss by Justin Richards rubbed salt into the wounds and ensured that hopes of a comeback were extinguished.
Danny Ventre opened the scoring with 18 minutes played as his corner from the left deceived Matt Gould and crept inside the far post.
And it was Ventre again who doubled the lead on 36 minutes, again from a dead ball. This time his free kick from the same side found it's way straight into the net, with Gould distracted by James McCarten's near-post run across the flight of the ball.
Richards had Stourbridge's best chance to pull a goal back 11 minutes into the second period after substitute Brandon Hague was bundled over by Liam Turner, but the striker's spot kick hit the top of the crossbar before going behind.
