The Glassboys have drafted in promising 21-year-old central defender MARSHALL WILLOCK to bolster the playing ranks.

Marshall is a towering 6ft. 4ins defender with good athletic ability. He has represented Montserrat at international level, winning his first cap when he came on as a substitute against El Salvador in November 2019.

His arrival is timely with Lathaniel Rowe-Turner set to serve a five-match ban following his two dismissals this week.

He started out as a youngster at Walsall before linking up with the Solihull Moors academy, where he was highly thought of.

He caught the eye of then League 2 side Chesterfield and in August 2017 he joined them on a two-year deal. He was loaned out to Kettering Town and Matlock Town that season to gain more senior experience, however, in the meantime Chesterfield were suffering a torrid campaign that saw them relegated to the National League in the spring of 2018.

Marshall was then made available on a free transfer by newly appointed Spireites boss Martin Allen and he subsequently re-joined Solihull Moors. He endured an injury-ravaged 2018/19 season though and left Moors the following summer.

He initially trialled with Tamworth in the summer of 2019 before signing for Redditch United, but in September 2019 he moved on to Peterborough Sports. He found his opportunities limited there though and at the turn of the year he briefly linked up with Wisbech Town before signing for Grantham Town in mid-January 2020. He made a handful of appearances for the Lincolnshire outfit before the pandemic brought a halt to proceedings for a time.

In July 2020 he signed for Finnish club Kemi City before re-joining Redditch United in August 2021 following his return to the UK. In mid-September 2021 he moved to MFL Premier Division club, Racing Club Warwick where he has produced some good displays.
