Kieran Bustin, along with Steve Brookes and Steve Fellows, have stepped down from running the Stourbridge FC Youth Team following the end of the 2018/19 season.

During Kieran's time in charge, our youth team won the MFYL Premier Division South title in 2017/18 and the Worcestershire County Youth Cup in both 2016/17 and 2017/18. He has also helped in the development of several young players who are now starting to make their mark in open age football.

We would like to place on record our huge thanks for the time and effort dedicated to the club by Kieran and Steve Brookes, not only as part of our youth team but also in being part of the club through the junior section for many years.

Steve Fellows will continue to be involved in the club as our Head of Junior Football Development.

At the same time, we are delighted to announce that we have appointed a new youth team manager with great experience and knowledge in the football community. RICHARD FORSYTH began his football career with Stourbridge before joining Kidderminster Harriers in 1987. He was part of the team which won the Conference title in 1993–94 and was the club's leading league scorer for the 1994–95 season with 13 goals, before moving to Birmingham City. A year later he moved on to Stoke City where he went on to spend three seasons with the club playing more than 100 games in all competitions. Spells at Blackpool, Peterborough United and Cheltenham Town subsequently followed.

Andy Bullingham (Vice Chairman) remarked: "Richard has already been working with the club and is a natural successor in the role. His experience and knowledge will be invaluable and will assist all our Youth players in understanding what is required to bridge the gap between Youth Team/Academy and our 1st Team. We wish him every success in the role."
