A powerful and quick winger, Jess moved to Stourbridge in July 2023, having scored 11 goals in 22 games for Leafield Athletic the previous season, including one against Stourbridge in the Glassgirls' 4-3 win on the final day of the season.

The 29-year-old spent the 2021-22 campaign with Solihull Moors, and before that had a four-year stint with Inverness Caledonian Thistle whilst studying in the Highlands City.
