We are hosting another of our popular "Sportsmen's Evenings" on Friday 26th February, with former Northern Ireland international Keith Gillespie.

Keith began his career with Manchester United, and is probably best known for his spells at Newcastle United and Blackburn Rovers. He also later played for Leicester City and Sheffield United, as well as on both sides of the Irish border for Glentoran and Longford Town.

He won 86 caps for Northern Ireland between 1994 and 2008, and was part of the team that famously beat England during qualifying for the 2006 World Cup, and then Spain in qualifying for the 2008 European Championships.

Having played under Sir Alex Ferguson, Kevin Keegan and Graham Souness, and alongside the likes of Ryan Giggs, Eric Cantona, Alan Shearer and David Ginola during his career, Keith will no doubt have some entertaining stories to tell!

The event starts at 7.00 pm, and will include a Cottage Pie & Veg meal, thanks to our generous friends at the French Deli.

There will also be entertainment from comedian, Austin Knight, as well as Irish Bingo, a raffle and an auction.

Tickets cost £20 from Chairman Andy Pountney - 07870 275001.
