We are delighted to announce that April's Charity Match between Stourbridge and Halesowen Town Legends raised a total of £10,056 for Parkinson's UK.

Cheques for over £5,000 each were handed over by Chairman Andy Pountney to representatives of Parkinson's UK and the Parkinson's UK Dudley and District Branch (pictured above) at the War Memorial Ground this week.

We would like to thank everybody who supported this event, which was staged in memory of the renowned Black Country comedian Tommy Mundon and Andy's father, Dinky Pountney, both of whom suffered with Parkinson's Disease.

Thanks in particular to the supporters of both clubs, who set local rivalry to one side for a day to support this fantastic cause, and to the players of both teams for providing great entertainment.

Our thanks also go to event sponsors A & H Construction Ltd and
Imperial Commercials for their backing.
