Midfielder SEAN GEDDES has today left the club and signed for Conference North outfit WORCESTER CITY.

Sean joined the Glassboys in July 2011 and enjoyed three successful seasons with the club, playing a major role in our memorable F A Cup runs of 2011 and 2013.

He won the Committee Player of the Year award for 2011/12 and was the Supporters Player of the Year last season after hitting 28 goals as he maintained a fine record of conversions from penalties.

Worcester boss Carl Heeley told their website on Tuesday afternoon: “I spoke with Gary yesterday about Sean and I was informed that he was available for transfer and we agreed a very nominal fee for his services which we are delighted with. Sean has a super goal return and has a fiery side to his character which will compliment the rest of the city squad. We have been actively looking to add goals to the team and this capture should help this."

The move provides Sean with a fresh challenge and the opportunity to showcase his skills at a higher level and we wish him well with his new club and thank him for his efforts over the last three years.
