Hereford, and the previous Hereford United club, have regularly played against an invited side, often from outside of the county borders, for the cup, dating back, we believe, to the 1950's. Last season the Bulls hosted Merthyr Town.

The match at Edgar Street (kick-off 3 pm) will work to normal friendly 'rules', but if scores are level at the end of 90 minutes, there will be a penalty shoot-out to determine the victors and a trophy and medal presentation will take place afterwards.

A club coach will be running and will leave the ground at 11.30am.

The fare is £10 with bookings taken on a first come first served basis.

Anybody travelling to the match by train is advised to change, where possible, at Droitwich Spa or Great Malvern for services on to Hereford.

The club’s Safety Certificate dictates that Edgar Street is a segregated ground and no movement between areas is allowed.

Stourbridge supporters will be accommodated in Block E of the Len Weston Stand (seating) and the terrace beneath (standing), with associated catering and toilet facilities in easy reach. Visiting supporters are welcome in the bars around the ground.

Hereford FC operates a cashless "ticket only" turnstile policy, so tickets must be purchased from the Matchday Ticket Office (at the North East corner of the ground) before attempting to enter. Admission prices will be as follows:

Please note that seating tickets are for specific seats and therefore must be occupied as purchased to avoid disputes with other supporters.

The stadium is non smoking throughout, which includes e-cigarettes.

Parking for supporters is available in the Merton Meadow Car Park adjoining the ground at £5 per car. Additional car parking is available in a number of other nearby car parks. However, there is very little on-street parking with most roads having timed or residents-only restrictions.

Directions

The Edgar Street Athletic Ground (HR4 9JU) is situated on the main A49 road running
through Hereford. The main stand and major entry points are on the opposite side of the
ground to the A49, accessed via the Merton Meadow Car Park from Blackfriars Street or
Widemarsh Street.
