The Glassboys have been drawn at home to Evo-Stik League newcomers Alvechurch in the Integro League Cup First Round.

'Church gained promotion to Evo-Stik League North last season after winning the Midland League, and will relish a chance to make their mark in their new surroundings against Premier Division opposition.

The draw comes only a couple of weeks after the teams met at Lye Meadow in pre-season action, where Alvechurch came out 2-1 winners thanks to a brace of first half penlties from former Stour man Tom Turton, whilst Jordan Murphy netted for the Glassboys.

The tie is scheduled to take place on Monday 16th October, with a 7.45 pm kick-off and will be concluded on the night with penalties at the end of 90 minutes, if required.
