The Glassboys have snapped up 20-year versatile midfield player JACK CRESSWELL, who ended last season with Sutton Coldfield Town.

The Redditch born player began his footballing career as a schoolboy at Manchester United before progressing through the youth ranks at Walsall.

After being released by the Saddlers in the summer of 2011 he linked up with Kidderminster Harriers for the following season. He played a few times for Stourport Swifts before signing a contract with Harriers in October 2011 to the end of the 2011/12 season. His opportunities with the Conference Premier outfit turned out to be limited though and in the New Year, he has loan stints with Redditch and then Chasetown.

He joined his home-town club, Redditch United, for the 2012/13 campaign, but he left the Reds in February 2013 and later joined Sutton Coldfield Town for the remainder of the season.

He can play anywhere across the midfield and is comfortable on the ball.
