WBA U23 0 Stourbridge 0

2 weeks ago By Richard Clark

The Glassboys kicked off their pre-season programme with a goal-less draw at the Baggies' training ground.

With both teams fielding entirely different line-ups in each half, the fixture was a useful training exercise, and no doubt helped to shake off the cobwebs after the summer break.

Aaron Forde was closest to breaking the deadlock midway through the second half when his shot from distance bounce down and out off the underside of the crossbar, whilst Matt Gould was called into action to make good saves twice before the break.

The build-up to the new season will continue with a home friendly against Birmingham City's Under 23s on Tuesday 18th July.
