Matt will work alongside recent appointed Academy team boss Paul Ravenhall and coach Lee Wood and look to develop and progress our newly formed Academy side in the months ahead.

Matt agreed to help out for the home fixture against Tamworth last week initially, but, having enjoyed the experience, a more formal arrangement has now been put in place that will see him involved as much as his own first team commitments allow.

His presence, as a first team player, will hopefully have a positive effect on the academy lads and give them the confidence to work hard at their football and continue to improve their all-round game, so that the dream of either making it as a professional footballer, or indeed playing for our first team, is a realistic possibility.
