With Luke Benbow still suffering from a hamstring strain, Reece Hales returned to the starting line-up, whilst Chris Knight came back into the defence after injury, with Will Richards moving into attack in place of Josh Craddock.
The Glassboys suffered an early blow, with Leon Broadhurst limping off on 6 minutes to be replaced by Craddock, with Richards slotting in at the back.
Both sides had chances in the first half, but it was the Glassboys who made the breakthrough on 29 minutes. Despite appeals for offside, Kayelden Brown was first to react to a loose ball to stab past Liam Castle in the home goal.
The Glassboys found themselves under pressure at the start of the second period, and Barwell eventually gained a deserved equaliser when Jamie Hood nodded home after a header from a corner had been blocked on the line.
However a couple of substitutions, with Brian Smikle and Drew Canavana introduced, perked up Stourbridge, who were rewarded for their best spell of the game on 79 minutes when Smikle poked the ball into the net at the far post after Brown had flicked on Canavan's corner.
The Glassboys could have made the game safe with efforts from Jordan Fitzpatrick (via a deflection) and Will Richards going just the wrong side of the post, but it was Barwell who had the last word. Sam Brooks, also on as a substitute raced clear five minutes from time to slot low past Dean Coleman and level the scores once more.
And Barwell had the best chance to win the game in stoppage time when Coleman produced an outstanding save to deny Brendan Murphy.
