Jordan Archer netted the only goal of the game to maintain the Glassboys' unbeaten start at Owen Street on Tuesday night.

Archer latched onto a through ball on 16 minutes, before getting the better of the onrushing Ravens keeper Matt Coton and lashing the ball into the net from ten yards.

Archer's strike came just three minutes after the same player had won a penalty, which he then saw saved by Coton as the keeper dived full length to his right, and was enough to settle a contest that never quite fully sparked into life, but saw enough chances and half-chances at either end to have brought more goals.

Both sides hit the crossbar - Coalville through Blair Anderson's first half free kick, and Stour when Danny O'Callaghan's second half header looped off the same piece of woodwork, whilst Nat Watson for the home side might have done better than screw his close-range effort wide late in the first period.
