The Club can confirm that winger Devarn Green has signed for National League side Tranmere Rovers for an undisclosed fee.

Devarn, 21, joined us towards the end of September from our Evo-Stik Premier rivals Hednesford Town and made six appearances for the Glassboys.

He showed great promise in his brief spell with the Club but the former Blackburn Rovers youngster has now moved on after Tranmere came in for him.

The Wirral outfit, currently 16th in the National League, have paid an undisclosed fee to the Club for Green’s services.

Glassboys boss Gary Hackett said: “Devarn is somebody we watched while he was at Hednesford and he heard good things about Stourbridge and wanted to join us.

“It’s taken a major club like Tranmere to coax him away and to be fair to them, they’ve been very good with us.

“Good luck to Devarn. He’s been great to have around the place in his short spell with us and he's got great ability.”

Devarn becomes the second Stour player this week to join a National League side after striker Jordan Archer’s move to Chester.

We would like to thank Devarn for his efforts at Stourbridge and wish him well at Tranmere.
