We are delighted to confirm that striker KAIMAN ANDERSON has signed a contract until the end of the 2017/18 campaign.

The 21-year-old has put pen to paper on a deal with the Glassboys after his contract at National League North club Southport was cancelled by mutual consent.

Stourbridge FC would like to thank Southport manager Kevin Davies and secretary Ken Hilton for their assistance in facilitating the move, given Kaiman’s loan with us expired at midnight yesterday and could not be extended.

Kaiman originally joined us on loan just before Christmas and he has gone on to make 15 appearances for Stour, scoring twice.

A former Shrewsbury Town youngster, Kaiman was released by the Shrews at the end of last season before signing for Southport.

He scored once in ten games for the Sandgrounders before his move to the War Memorial Ground, where he has impressed fans with his hard-working displays.

Following Saturday’s defeat against Ashton, a game in which he scored, Anderson said: “I’ve really enjoyed it so far.

“All the players and management have been very welcoming. Everyone at the club has been very nice to me which has been great.

“Hopefully I can get a few more goals between now and the end of the season - that’s the plan.”
