Midfielder JAMIE MASTROPIERRO started the game in midfield. He was previously with AFC Rushden & Diamonds where he progressed through their academy system into their U18 and U21 sides. He was named as their young player of the year for 2015/16. He has since gained senior experience in the United Counties League with Rushden & Higham United and more recently Harborough Town.

CAMERON WALKER was introduced as a second-half substitute. The teenage forward was previously on the books of West Bromwich Albion and he played in their U23 side in the EFL Trophy at Luton Town in October 2016.

Both players have recently been training with the club and boss Gary Hackett took the opportunity to see them in match action.
