The Stourbridge FC youth team retained the Worcestershire County Youth Cup with a narrow 1-0 win over Evesham United.

In a tight, keenly fought contest, Harvey Walker notched the only goal of the game after 37 minutes, turning the ball home from close range after a free-kick had been headed across goal into his path.

Evesham enjoyed a good phase of play immediately after the re-start with keeper Reiss Jeavons pulling off one fine save to his left to keep out a header that was curling in, but after weathering that spell of pressure, the Glassboys youngsters saw out the game reasonably comfortably to retain the trophy that the club had also won 12 months earlier.

Well done to all the lads, Kieran and his support team!
